About
Technical Lead, backend engineer, and occasional teacher.
I’m a software engineer with 12+ years of experience building web platforms end to end, from architecture and backend design to deployment and running them in production. Today I’m a Technical Lead at METRO.digital, where I guide our team’s technical direction and build scalable backend systems with Kotlin, Java and Google Cloud.
Before that I spent many years in the PHP world with Symfony and Laravel: rewriting slow legacy platforms, scaling high-traffic sites with Redis and job queues, and leading small teams with Scrum. I care about performance, clean architecture, and systems that are simple to run, and I enjoy sharing what I learn along the way.
